Mental health
Mindful gardening
Many gardeners correctly sense intuitively that gardening promotes good mental health. It also supports the recovery from many forms of mental ill-health and associated broader difficulties, whether from stress, anxiety, panic attacks, anger, depression, psychosis, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma or eating disorders. We offer group courses in therapeutic gardening, based on a blend of psycho-education exercises and gardening activities. We also offer landscape design services to develop gardens for mental well-being, which can be developed with those with mental health difficulties.
